She owned a small apartment, but since she was living alone it was O.K. for her.
At 24 years old Jenny was still expecting a lot in life. And why not? She didn’t have anyone to take care of, no responsibilities and no problems. Until July.
Jenny wasn’t a superstitious person, except in one aspect. With July being the seventh month and seven being the ‘lucky number’, Jenny always looked forward to July as being her lucky month. In the past she had done a number of things including winning a spelling bee, getting her first ever boyfriend and starring in her secondary school play. Heck, she was also born in July. But July 2007 had a big difference.
This big difference arrived in the shape of a 20 year old young man named Phil.
Jenny was sat at home silently reading her favourite book. It was her day off, so she was taking advantage of it. She didn’t react when she heard a car stop outside her house.
But then she heard a familiar knock. She looked up with a puzzled look on her face. She proceeded to the door and opened it. There was a man stood outside with a couple suitcases.
“Hey sis, guess who’s moving in!”
